What Is Juvederm VOLBELLA®?

Juvederm VOLBELLA is part of the Juvederm family of dermal fillers. It’s a finely cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel formulated specifically for the lips and the delicate skin around the mouth. The inclusion of lidocaine helps improve comfort during injection.

Unlike thicker fillers used for cheeks or volumizing, VOLBELLA is designed for subtle enhancement, smoothing vertical lip lines, restoring slight volume, and refining the lip border with a soft, natural feel.

How the Treatment Works?

Preparation & Comfort: A topical numbing cream may be applied. The included lidocaine in VOLBELLA also helps reduce discomfort during injection.

Injection Process: Using ultra-fine needles or microcannulas, your provider will deliver small, controlled injections into the lips and/or around the mouth. The technique focuses on precision and subtle enhancement.

Post-Treatment Care: After injection, there may be mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising for a few days. You’ll receive aftercare instructions, e.g., avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and massaging of the area for a short period.
